Our Story
The Beginning
Father & Son Doing it Right – In 2007, the dream of having a shingles mill came alive for Rejean and his son Dave. That is when the construction of a new mill at 145 des Ormes Road in Baker Brook, New Brunswick started. They decided to manufacture the very best and highest quality eastern white cedar shingles. Together they built a state-of-the-art saw mill, which includes the use of laser and automated hydraulics.
What we do
Handled with Care – We produce quality eastern white cedar shingles from cedar trees grown in the US and Canada. At our mill in Baker Brook, we take the cedar trees through every stage of the sawing process. First the trees are debarked outside. We then take these trees into the mill where they are cut to length, sawed, graded, re-squared and re-butted. The quality of our product is very important to us. As the shingles pass through each set of hands, they are carefully checked for quality. This vigilance helps to insure the consistent value of our product.
